Quite possible the greatest tweet ever written.
Let’s remember, Jesus was a Jewish man of color, born homeless to an unwed teenager, who spent his formative years as an illegal immigrant before returning to his home country to hang out with twelve men, prostitutes, and socially untouchable tax collectors while he taught a radical social doctrine of equality, love, and forgiveness that included paying taxes, free healthcare, and the sharing of resources within a community.
Jesus called somebody an ass once because they where being rude to a crippled little old lady if you don’t think that’s the tightest shit then get out of my face.
Pretty sure that Jesus was also the first person to say, “don’t be a dick.”
i don’t live in such a dimension too
this ship is bananas
i spent 5 minutes straight laughing about this without breathing and this has 9 notes
the fall of a queen
This is something I’ve noticed about people who have ask blogs for certain fandoms and/or popular characters. They seem to be nice people but when you try to talk to them, they ignore you right on the spot even if you had just followed them. That’s called being a complete asshole and its discouraging fans to even believe in the fandom anymore. I’ve experienced this myself and it hurts, really it does. But do I retaliate? No, because I wouldn’t be considered human or a fan if I spoke my feelings about the people who have these blogs. I just take their shit and smile and walk away without a worry in the world just to protect myself from all the hate.
Just ignore it if you find this bullshit, which I know its 99% of you.
(( alright i’m not having this entitled bullshit.
1. you say you don’t retaliate yet here you are making this post
2. ask blogs/”popular” blogs/artists in general don’t owe you a shoutout and a personalized ass-kissing because you clicked follow. shockingly, actual people with lives outside of the internet are behind the blogs you’re whining about, and if they’re as popular as they say, then there are definitely lots of other messages they have to get to.
3. ask blogs literally have NO reason to ignore any random follower unless you’re nagging them, spamming them, or otherwise just being plain immature, so this sort of arrogance that “uwuuuuu i’m being ignored by so and so bc they didn’t respond to MEEEEE” does not fly.
ask blogs love and are grateful for their followers because without them we wouldn’t have any asks to answer, anyone to draw for, you get the gist. there’s a difference between understandably getting bummed when your question doesn’t get answered after a while and just plain being an entitled baby about it.
tl;dr: grow up ))
Also considering the fact that this is addressed to popular blogs, & seeing as how popular blogs get a lot of attention & messages of the exact same thing “why don’t you talk to me”, “oh let’s be friends”, “LOL RANDOM THING”, trust me I’m friends with mods who have dealt with this. How would you feel if you got thousands or hundreds of messages a day, are not able to respond to all of them at once? How would you feel if you are in the middle of responding as fast as you can to these messages & then suddenly get an INFLUX of messages saying “WHY DIDN’T YOU RESPOND TO ME?!” or something like that?
I know it sucks when you feel like you’re being ignored, but it’s not intentional at all (unless you know you’re spamming or breaking the rules of the blog), but it also sucks when you have hundreds of thousands of messages & you want to respond to them all but there’s no way unless you take your time & do it, & then getting maybe MILLIONS of messages saying that “you’re horrible for ignoring my messages”
TL;DR Just have patience with your favorite popular ask blogs, because they go through spam & eggs to get through their beloved followers
